Loughmacrory and Gortin shared points
Loughmacrory and Gortin played out a draw in the wind and rain on Friday evening in Pairc an Locha. Loughmacrory started off brightly and led by two at the interval with points apiece from Gary and Stevie Conway, John Gallagher and Damien McAleer and four from Ronan Ward.
On the resumption a goal from Ciarán Ward after gave them a comfortable five point lead. Gortin kept in touch however with two pointed frees and in the twentieth minute of the half Ronan Ward pointed Loughmacrory's last score of the evening which still left them four ahead. Gortin then sent over four unanswered points to draw level and, despite a number of chances, Loughmacrory could not manage that elusive winner and had to settle for a share of the spoils.
