CLAN NA NGAEL 2 – 16 2 – 07 LOUGHMACRORY
Depleted Reserves fall to Clan na nGael
The reserves, fielding a number of minors were well beaten by Clan na nGael in Donemana. The match, which saw Patrick Hughes’ return from injury cut short through a recurrence, saw Malachy Coyle receive his marching orders for a hotly contested second book-able offence.
A bright opening had saw Shane McCullagh take the rebound from his own shot off the crossbar and calmly beat the home keeper. His goal kept the reserves in contention only until the break after which playing into a strong low sun the defence could not keep out the repeated Clan na nGael attack.
