DUNGANNON 2 – 06 1 – 09 LOUGHMACRORY
Christopher Kelly’s late equaliser retrieves a league point
Noel Kelly provided the pass for Conor Harte to raise a green flag shortly before the break to restore parity after the home side had been asserting dominance in the opening twenty minutes. On the resumption a Karl Logue point gave the Lough the lead but this was short lived as Dungannon scored their second goal two minutes later.
Despite having their midfielder dismissed for kicking Joseph Kelly the Clarke's had increased their lead to three points by the three-quarter mark. A pointed free from Shane McCullagh and another from play from Barry McElduff brought the reserves to within striking distance and in the dying minute Christopher Kelly took a pass from Niall Toner who had won the Clarke's kick-out and calmly slotted over from an acute angle in the right corner.
This sweetly struck effort leveled the game and the referee called for time on the ensuing kick-out.
