During the past year the Bar situated within the club continued to provide much needed income. Martin and Sean Donaghy ensured that the facility ran smoothly and a lot of the work they do in this area goes unseen. I would also like to thank all those who volunteered to work in the bar during the year. Padraigin Kelly put a huge effort this year into culture and has made great progress on the Scor, so well done to her as well.

The club held its Annual Dinner Dance in January of this year and it was again held in our own premises. The Youth Presentation night took place in November and it also proved to be a very successful event.

I would like to pay special thanks to all Committee members during the past year as well as members of the various sub committees. Their hard work and effort ensured that all aspects of the Club ran smoothly throughout the past year and I look forward to this work continuing in the year ahead. John Conway, also deserves a special mention for his work at the new Pavilion, as does the Grounds Committee headed by Tom O Brien, for ensuring that our pitch was in excellent condition all year. I also would like to thank all those who came forward to carry out stewarding duties at these games and other events. A special word of thanks must also go to those who were involved in the catering in the Clubrooms during the season. The hospitality provided was greatly appreciated over the course of the year.

I really want to extend our thanks and appreciation to all those who supported our teams throughout the season. The support our teams enjoy is renowned throughout the County at both adult and underage level and it is greatly appreciated by players and club officials.

On a personal level I would like to mention chairman, Barry McElduff, treasurer, Kevin McElduff, and Vice Chairman Stephen Mc Cullagh for their help and assistance to me during the past year. With their support my job was a lot easier and we as a Club are very lucky to have such dedicated and capable people. I especially want to point out Stephen McCullagh’s role in being an excellent backup to myself as Secretary.

Looking ahead I would like to see fresh faces becoming involved in the running of our club. Everyone here tonight has some role to play no matter how small. Therefore I would encourage all present to offer their help and assistance in some way during the course of 2016 as the Club strives to promote Gaelic Games

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our teams the best of luck for 2016 and wish everyone a happy and peaceful Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

Finally I would like to remember anyone connected with the club who passed away during the past 12 months. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families at this time.
