Seniors fall short in promotion bid
The senior team failed in their bid to progress in the division 1B promotion playoffs, going down away from home to a determined Gortin side. Scores proved hard to come by in the first half and Loughmacrory failed to take maximum gain from the wind assistance. Both teams exchanged scores throughout the hour with the final say left to a well struck sideline kick for Gortin which sealed their victory.
