CLONOE 1 - 13 0 - 09 LOUGHMACRORY
Loughmacrory fell heavily to Clonoe last Sunday evening in the O’Rahily’s home ground. The Lough started with the county player Mickey McGee in the unfamiliar position of full forward with Ronan Ward wearing the number 12 shirt. However the writing was on the wall for the Lough when a Colm Dorris goal put the home side 6 points in front by the sixth minute and McGee was recalled to tighten up the defence.
Points from Ronan and Ciarán Ward and Stephen Conway early in the second half brought Loughmacrory to within striking distance but that was as good as it was to get for them as Clonoe finished strongly to go clear at the top of the Div 1B table.
