Before I conclude my report I would like to recognize the work carried out by all our Committee members during the past year. Their combined efforts ensure the Club is run in a smooth and efficient manner. John Conway deserves a special word of thanks for his work at the new Pavilion as well as Club Referees Sean Mc Cartan and Cathal Logue. I would also like to thank all those involved in catering during the past year. The hospitality they provided was excellent greatly appreciated.
It would be remiss of me not to mention our supporters who follow our teams throughout the County. Players and officials of the Club really appreciate your efforts get behind our teams and we look forward to your support in the months and years ahead.
I would like to personally thank Chairman Martin Donaghy and Treasurer Sean Donaghy for all their help and assistance throughout the year. Their help and assistance made my job as Secretary a lot easier and for this I am very grateful. A lot of the work they carry out is unseen and we are fortunate to have two such dedicated clubmen in our midst.
Looking ahead to 2011 I believe it is vital that fresh faces get involved in the running of our Club to ensure it is passed on to the next generation in as healthy as state as it presently is in. I would therefore encourage anyone who feels they have something to offer to join the new Committee for the year ahead.
I would also like to wish all out teams good luck for the new season and hopefully the Club will have some silverware to celebrate come next December
Finally I would like to remember anyone connected with the Club that passed away during the past 12 months. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families at this time.
