Secretary’s report to AGM 2 of 6  2010
The Reserve team showed excellent character and resolve during the season to claim 16 league points having won seven games drawing two and loosing six. With a lot of Senior players missing during the year the reserve panel remained relatively small and they can feel very happy with their return. In the Championship the side enjoyed a run to the semi Final having defeated Strabane in the first Round 2-12 to 1-6 and Rock in the Quarter Final 2-11 to 2-8. In the semi Final played at Donaghmore on 3rd September the side fell to the challenge of double winners Eglish 1-15 to 2-2.

The U-21 side competed in Grade 2 of the competition and played a total of three games against Beragh, Urney and Gortin. Unfortunately the side only managed to win one of these games and did not qualify for the knock out stages.

Overall the Senior panel can look back on the 2010 season with relative satisfaction at the progress made. The team were crippled all season with injuries to key figures within the squad and for them to perform as admirably in the league was to their credit. Unfortunately the side were not able to make the desired impact on the Intermediate Championship but hopefully this can be rectified in 2011. I would like at this point to thank all the players and the management for their hard work and effort throughout the year. From the Clubs point of view it was very encouraging to see such large numbers of players train up until the end of the season and hopefully in 2011 the side can take some silverware back to the Club.

On the Youth scene I am happy to report that the Club has maintained the steady progress made during the past few years.
The Minor team under the guidance of Sean Pol Harte, Barry Mc Elduff, Stephen Conway and Gussy Mc Aleer competed in Grade 2. The side won six of their seven league games and qualified for the league Quarter Final where they defeated Augher 3-16 to 1-3. However, in the league semi final the side faced a strong Pomeroy side and were defeated 0-6 to 2-16. In the Championship the side defeated Greencastle in the first Round on a 3-15 to 0-9 scoreline on 21st April but succumbed to the challenge of eventual double winners Pomeroy in the Quarter Final on a 2-17 to 0-7 scoreline.
The side played their first competitive fixture of the season on Sunday 28th March away to Newtownstewart and their season ended with the league Semi Final defeat to Pomeroy on Friday 1st October, which is a span of 26 weeks to play a total of eleven competitive games. I believe this is very unfair on both players and management and it is something that seriously needs to be addressed within our county. The lads and the management deserve credit for their efforts during the season working in such difficult circumstances.

Mick Meenagh, Ronan Ward and Malachy Coyle were in charge of the U-16 team that competed in Grade 1. The side defied all the odds to gain 13 points out of a possible 16 in their league section to qualify for the knock out stages. In the Quarter
