ESKRA 1 - 07 2 - 14 LOUGHMACRORY
Seniors win by double scores in Eskra
Loughmacrory's winning streak has extended to eight games after another impressive win this time at the base of Eskra. The St Teresa's were out of the blocks quickly with the opening half a dozen points of the contest and they never looked back with Niall Donaghy, Enda Ward and Karl Logue among their points. Peter Hughes had a brace for Eskra but the hosts trailed 0-8 to 0-2 at the break.
An early second half goal from Ciarán Ward confirmed Loughmacrory's dominance and even though the Emmetts responded with a Paul Meegan major they were fighting a losing battle. Stephen Donaghy capped a flowing move with a second Loughmacrory goal as they ran out comfortable double scores winners, 2-14 to 1-7, to remain firmly in the promotion picture.
