STRABANE 1 – 17 2 – 09 LOUGHMACRORY
The seniors fell heavily to a faster and slicker moving Strabane side in Pairc Mhic Sioghar on Friday evening.
Loughmacrory were awarded an early penalty which Ronan Ward duly dispatched to the Strabane net and went in at half time leading by 1 – 04 to 0 – 05.
However Strabane emerged a rejuvenated team after the break and took complete control scoring eight points without reply. Loughmacrory on the other hand went thirty minutes without scoring and an Enda Ward goal in the dying minutes only served to put a more respectable look on the scoreboard.
