LOUGHMACRORY 0 - 07 1 - 12 TRILLICK
Reserves suffer third league defeat
The reserves are still without a league point after going down at home to Trillick on Sunday afternoon. Paul Donnelly opened Loughmacrory’s account with a free in the seventh minute but by that time Trillick, having opened briskly, had three points on the board. The men from the west added a further two points to their tally before Sean O’Kane put Paul Donnelly through for his second score of the evening. Patrick McCullagh converted a 45 to bring the home side to within 2 but again the men in red replied in kind. Paul Donnelly sent over a free after Brian McCrystal was fouled going through to bring the Loughmacrory tally to 4 but again the visitors finished the half strongly with two more minors, one from a placed ball, to leave the half time score Loughmacrory 0 – 04 Trillick 0 – 08.
Trillick went seven ahead on the restart before Loughmacrory registered the first of their three second half points with a Patrick McCullagh free. Another Paul Donnelly free closed the gap to five but Trillick looked in control of the match at this stage and when midfielder Brian Donaghy sent over a fine point a minute later they had the final say with the closing score of the match to leave five in it at the end.
