LOUGHMACRORY 4 - 19 0 - 05 OWEN ROES
U14's march on!
The U14's recorded their second victory of the campaign with a comfortable win over Owen Roes. Despite regulars Ruairí McElduff and Padraig Kelly being unavailable the team gave a good account of themselves. Against a strong wind the team built up a 1.10 to 0.04 by half time. In the second half with the wind the Lough continued to dominate and notched up another 3.09 to 0.01 score in the second half.
There were good performances from stand in full back Ronan Donaghy who was solid all day, again Kieran Grimes was excellent in goals with a couple of great saves. But the stand out performers of the day were Micheal Rafferty and Ryan Curran who both battled like lions all day. Next week see the U14’s face Beragh at home at 12.00 noon.
