LOUGHMACRORY 1 – 07 0 – 05 GALBALLY
In a hard hitting if low scoring encounter in Pairc an Locha on Sunday evening Loughmacrory reserves recorded their second win of the weekend at the expense of Galbally. Despite winning a lot of possession at mid field where Gerard Donaghy was having a fine game Loughmacrory were slow to put scores on the board in the initial stages. Galbally were leading 3 points to 1 when Eoin Mullan’s quickly reacted to a rebound and palmed the ball to the Galbally net, giving his side a 1 – 02 to 0 – 03 half time lead.
Ten minutes into the second half Galbally were reduced to 14 men and Loughmacrory dominated the contest from there to the finish adding another five points to Galbally’s two.
