BERAGH 4 - 05 7 - 11 LOUGHMACRORY
U-14's Qualify for league Quarter Finals
After a two week lay off the U-14's returned to action on Wednesday evening in Beragh knowing that a win would secure a place in the quarter finals of the league. In the first 15 minutes the whole team looked a bit rusty after their layoff. Indeed at one stage early in the first half they were down by eight points to a very determined Beragh side. But by half time the deficit was cut to just 4 points. The first score of the second half was a well worked goal from Loch Mhic Ruairí.
Beragh replied immediately with a point. But from that point onwards the Lough were in the ascendancy, eventually running out winners 7 - 11 to 4 - 05. It was fantastic all round team performance. The battling qualities and fitness levels of the team are starting to shine though.
