LOUGHMACRORY 4 – 10 0 – 05 OMAGH
Both Loughmacrory and Omagh went into the game after Championship victories over Eglish and Gortin respectively, and so both were keen to hold onto winning ways. The first half, during which Loughmacrory had the wind advantage, left little between the sides with Enda and Ronan Ward showing that they were capable of tormenting the Omagh defence. The second half however turned into a rout after Mark McCullagh’s speculative shot dropped into the Omagh net and the floodgates opened. After being reduced to fourteen men with around fifteen minutes to go Omagh’s misery was compounded with further goals from Eunan Donnelly, Shane Coyle and Ronan Ward.
