Reserves cruise to victory
The reserves were much too strong for Derry visitors Craigbane’s second string scoring a comprehensive fourteen points victory in this challenge match in Loughmacrory. There wasn’t too much in it at the halfway stage Loughmacrory leading 0 - 04 to 0 - 01, the home scores coming from Stevie Conway, Ryan Keenan, Karl Logue and Sean O' Kane.
Craigbane failed to register in the second period as Loughmacrory extended their lead with points from Karl Logue (2 frees), Sean O'Kane (2) Ryan Keenan and Daniel McCallan before McCallan blasted to the visitor’s net to put the game well and truly out of reach of the Derrymen. Pearse Donaghy and substitute Brian Donaghy added points in the final minutes to put a little extra icing on the cake.
