LOUGHMACRORY 1 - 12 1 - 02 DUNGANNON
Reserves score facile 10 points win over Dungannon
The reserves had ten points to spare in this one sided encounter in Loughmacrory, Joseph McCracken’s accuracy especially from frees punishing all Dungannon misdemeanours relentlessly.
McCracken sent over five first half points, the first a close in free after two minutes and then two from play, Daniel McCallan who proved an excellent ball winner, putting him through both times. Karl Logue then took a pass from Daniel Fox to split the posts putting his side four nil up. Dungannon then opened their account before Paul Donnelly sent over a great effort from 35 metres out and McCracken added another two before Paul Donnelly wrapped up the first half scoring to leave it 0 - 08 to 0 - 02 at the turn around.
On the resumption Brian McCrystal pointed it the first minute but the home side were then reduced to 14 men,Karl Logue receiving his marching orders in the first minute on the second half. It made little difference to the action however as the visiting Clarkes could only muster a single score, albeit a goal, during the second period. Paul Donnelly meantime goaled for the home side and McCracken sent over a beauty from far out on the right wing to give his side a ten points victory.
