The reserves had a useful pre-season challenge against Coalisland in Sunday before the Ulster league game.

Noel Kelly opened the second half scoring coming all the way up from the full back position to split the posts and further minors from Joseph McCracken and Daniel Fox kept the visitors in touch. Patrick McCullagh hooked over a good score with his left boot but one more minor from Connal Kelly was all Loughmacrory could muster in the final ten minutes as the Fianna increased their tally to 1 - 10.
