CREGGAN (ANTRIM) 0 - 07 1 - 05 LOUGHMACRORY
Seniors make successful start to Ulster League
Loughmacrory picked up two points in their opening Ulster league game against Creggan of Antrim on Saturday morning in Creggan. At throw in time a heavy fog engulfed the field and the match began with visibility down to no more than 30 metres. Despite this the Castledawson referee decided to continue with the fixture. Both teams showed a bit of ring rustiness after the long lay off but a first half goal saw Loughmacrory go in leading at the break and they held out for a one point win at 0 - 07 to 1 - 05.
