Reserves reverse home defeat with convincing win in Gortin
The reserves scored a comprehensive 13 points victory over Gortin on Sunday with no fewer than eight players registering on the score sheet over the course of the hour. Goals were the order of the day in the early exchanges with four bagged in the opening quarter, Stephen Donaghy and Joseph Kelly the Loughmacrory scorers, Paddy McDonald, Karl Logue and Patrick McCullagh had knocked over 3 points for the visitors by this stage and 2 further strikes from Stephen Donaghy saw them lead by 2 - 06 to 2 - 02 by the turn around,
Loughmacrory completely dominated the second half with Paddy McDonald the chief marksman registering a further goal and 2 points to bring his personal tally to 1 - 3, Daniel Fox, Patrick McCullagh, Karl Logue and Brendan Ward also pointed to bring the Loughmacrory total to a formidable 3 - 14 while the home side could only muster 1 point over the second period.
