LOUGHMACRORY 0 - 06 1 - 03 MOY
Loughmacrory dominated the early exchanges and had built up a three point lead after 20 minutes, the scores coming from Benny Ward, Eoin Mullan and Connal Kelly. The match was 20 minutes old before Moy opened their account with a point but they followed it up immediately with a fortuitous goal to take the lead for the first time. Two minutes later the return of The General was heralded with Gary Conway levelling for the home side from distance. Corner-forward Connal Kelly had restored their one point advantage by the short whistle.
On the restart Karl Logue extended the lead to two but unfortunately that concluded Loughmacrory's scoring as they then went 25 minutes without raising another flag. Moy were also finding it difficult to find the target in the slippery conditions but in the seventeenth minute they added a point to bring them to within striking distance and then hit the equalising score after 25 minutes. The ref must have thought a draw to be a fair result as he blew the final whistle on the resumptions with 26 minutes played and with the teams locked at 0 - 06 to 1 - 03.
