Reserves defeat Eglish in penultimate league fixture
The reserves picked up two more league points defeating Eglish in Pairc an Locha. After exchanging early points, including a 45 for the visitors, the home side took control with a string of points from Benny Ward (2) Damien McAleer, Paddy McDonald and Karl Logue. The visitors however tagged on a fortuitous goal to go in level at the break, 0 - 07 to 1 - 04.
Eglish opened the scoring in the second half to go one ahead but again the Lough boys enjoyed a purple patch with points from Stephen Donaghy, Ryan Keenan, Benny Ward and a brace from Enda Ward. Eglish then scored two placed balls but Loughmacrory finished strongly with points form Karl Logue and Joseph McCracken.
