LOUGHMACRORY 3 - 11 1 - 05 MOY
Seniors find form after Dungannon lapse to breeze past Moy
The seniors bounced back from their disappointing defeat to Dungannon last week to claim both points with a comprehensive twelve points win over Moy on Saturday evening.
Damien McAleer and Colm Cavanagh swapped points in the opening minutes but McAleer was the hero of the opening half as his goal in the thirteenth minute helped his team to 1 -05 to 0 -02 half time lead, the other points coming from Sean Paul Slane and the Ward brothers Ronan and Enda.
Loughmacrory continued to dictate matters in the second half and had tagged on another two minors before Moy, with a goal and a point at the three quarter stage seemed to be going to make a game of it. However there was only going to be one winner when, fifteen minutes into the half, Ronan Ward placed his brother Enda for Loughmacrory’s second goal and added another himself three minutes later. Benny Ward, who had come on for the injured Sean Slane, provided the vital pass. From there to the end Loughmacrory fairly well dictated matters as Stevie Conway and half back John Gallagher knocked over further points.
