OMAGH 0 - 09 1 - 09 LOUGHMACRORY
Seniors back on track
Loughmacrory got back to winning ways collecting both league points to keep them in touch with the pack chasing leaders Cookstown on the Division 1B table.
Omagh opened the scoring with a point in the first minute but Stevie Conway replied with a similar score immediately and put his side one up a minute later. A further minor from Damien McAleer and two from Sean Paul Slane saw Loughmacrory go in at the break leading 0 -05 to 0 -04.
On the resumption Omagh levelled in the first minute but Stevie Conway, getting on to the end of a high dropping ball, punched to the Omagh net for the score that won the match. That goal put the Lough three points up and that was the winning margin they held at the final whistle. The Ward brothers Ronan and Enda added four points for the winners in the final quarter, two of those coming from frees by Ronan.
