LOUGHMACRORY 2 – 07 1 – 13 EDENDORK
Reserves lose to Edendork
Mark McCullagh opened the scoring in the first minute of this reserve encounter with a pointed free and added another two in reply to one from Edendork. Eoin Harte then scored a good point from the left wing before Karl Logue put Loughmacrory eight up with a pointed free and a goal from play. Edendork found their feet at last and added a goal and a point to leave the score 1 - 06 to 1 - 02 at the break.
Loughmacrory faded badly in the second half and Edendork, with wind advantage, knocked over nine points without reply to go from four down to five up by the twenty second minute. Loughmacrory did get a consolation goal and a pointed free form Mark McCullagh merely served to put a more respectable look on the scoreboard.
