Youth Football
The U-16’s were defeated by Omagh in the Championship on Saturday evening past on a 3-13 to 3-9 scoreline. The game ebbed and flowed throughout the sixty minutes and was an excellent advertisement for underage football. Although disappointed the lads can be proud of their efforts and now focus on the League Quarter Final against Donaghmore which is due to be played on Saturday 18th September. The U-13’s have began their league campaign well by recording victories over Kildress and Strabane. The side is scheduled to entertain Owen Roes this Friday evening at 6:45pm. The U-12 team took part in the Jackie Lambe Tournament in Pomeroy on Saturday and gave a good account of themselves. The Club would like to thank Pomeroy for the invitation. The Club hosted the Final U-10 Blitz on Saturday morning past and proved to be very enjoyable for all involved. The U-8 Final Blitz will take this Saturday morning commencing at 10am and anyone available to help out would be very welcome.
